Title: Ladybug and Bumblebee Boy, 2009, Picture Book
This book is about a little girl named Lulu who wears a Ladybug costume and calls herself Ladybug girl and goes to the playground and plays with a little boy named Same who is wearing a shirt that is bumblebee colors and calls himself Bumblebee Boy. These two children pretent that they are super heroes and together they save the playground from bad things. I thought this book was very enjoyable. These two children pretended to be super heroes and save the world one step at a time, also this is a form of dramatic play. I think that it is very good when children use their imaginations to play especially at a young age.
I would recommend this book for children starting at the age of two to seven years old. They are young enough to understand the concept of the book and then will want to use their imagination and come up with their own dramatic play.
